I have two diadems, one hatchling and a yearling. They are two of my favorite snakes--fascinating to watch move around and eat. They need to have a fairly warm basking area for the day (85-95), night temps can drop. They are really interesting to watch when you have a naturalistic tank set up (they'll hide all the time if they don't have cover). My male is used to being held and never threatens me, the female still hisses when she's held but never bites. I don't try and hold them too much, I like watching them more and they don't seem to really enjoy being held.
email me if you have more questions :)

: Has anyone had any experience with royal diadems? I've seen a few (that weren't for sale) at a reptile shop and really liked them.
