my radiated rat - Lorelei - Is only about 6 months old. she's pretty typical for an asian rat - like any taenuria she's a bit jumpy, but in general ok, nothing like a coachwhip or racer. The ones people call the spawn of evil are probably wild caught. Wild-caught rat snakes are the seed of the devil, but captive-bred ones are fine. radiata are pretty fast though, so if you aren't used to asian rats you may be in for a surprise. :-)
