My friend's wild caught radiated rats are similar in nature .. very aggressive but given sufficient handling, they will tame down noticeably. But make no mistake, they will never become as docile as a boa or ball.

In conclusion, I'd venture to say they are similar in temperament to my gonyyosoma. They'll fight as hell to stay out of your hands if you attempt to take them out from their cage. They'll calm down after some time being handled but revert to their same old selves when placed back in their cages.

If you enjoy looking at them, go ahead. They are very beautiful and impressive creatures. Heve fun and good luck!

I'm interested in acquiring one, but would really like to know what people have experienced in regards to their temperament. I've heard of some people referring to them as "spawn of satan" and others referring to them as "little sweeties"...
