Don't get snippy. I was merely wondering why you preferred a wild-caught, especially since captive-breds are easily and cheaply available.
But while we're at it, it's a fine bit of reasoning to say that the snake would otherwise be wiped out by a hawk or small child. (Wild collection means, among other things, less food for hawks.) Most people concerned with conservation will admit that collection doesn't have nearly as much impact on wild populations as wanton killing, roadkill and habitat destruction. But you know, it doesn't help.
