solution to the bowl problem

I have found that if you handle the snake for about 10 minutes or so before putting it down and them keep putting it where you want it over and over, it will eventually sit still and allow you to pose it with a hook. The worst offenders however are captive snakes. They are used to the handling and it doesn't seem to phase them and they just keep crawling (Tantilla do this as well!).
