2 basic questions on size + housing.

I knew the answer to this- but I cant remember now, and I cant find it in the books I have since they are all are "general"- 1. whats the max size a male grey rat snake will get (and at what age is that size attained) and 2. whats the ideal cage size. He's about 2.5 - 3 yrs right now and in a 20 gal set up. Should we move him to a large cage (I have a 40 gal I could use if I move the rats in it to a wire cage). Any good Ratsnake specific websites I can bookmark for future refference?
