: Is that effect of inbreeding?
I have no idea, I purchased the snake a few years back in Daytona as a yearling. I don't know if she came from related stock or not. Perhaps that is a possibility. The dealer I got her from had two fairly big albinos in a cup together, I looked closely and one of them had black eyes. Otherwise the snakes were identical. I bought them both and the guy went into the usual "how to care for" spills. Once they were in hand, I held up the container and noted "Gee, isnt it neat how one of them has black eyes and the other has red eyes?" The dealer said, "Huh!?!?! I didn't notice!"
LOL, I walked away and said thanks for the snakes, ;) I think I paid $40 for both!
