I have both as well. My male Peruvian is doing his best to breed as we speak. I haven't seen actual copulation as of yet so we'll see. Taiwans are very easy to breed. They will reproduce with or without a cooling down period (I've had success with both). I've yet to encounter a hatchling that was a picky feeder or a determined biter. The BCI that I've had in the past become very tame. So do Taiwans if handled regularly at an early age. I don't think you can go wrong either way.
