I handle mine every night atleast 15-20 min. I only have 2 snakes, so I can give them the time. I can see where someone who has a bunch of snakes couldnt have the time to handle them. My rat loves to be out of the cage, and is so used to me getting him out that he comes out of his hide when I take the lid off. He then proceeds to crawl up my arm and onto my shoulders! And boy does he put up a fight when I go to put him back in!! The only time I dont handle them is the 48 hours after feeding. Other than that I enjoy getting them out.
