Great snakes -
The answer to all your questions is a big yes - easy to keep, easy to breed, great temperament. They grow to around 3-4 feet, so yours is probably a yearling. These guys eat like pigs and I've known of people breeding them at eighteen months old, and regularly at two years of age.
They tend to be very docile but active and have no real special requirements. They like it quite warm, low 80s with a hot spot, and don't need much of a night time drop. Bit of humidity but not lots - water bowl on the heatmat does it for me. Only problems I've ever heard of is if they get a bit too cool...
Hope this helps.
