Travis, I have 5 WC Gulf Hammock rats that I personally collected in Levy County, FL. While there is a little color variance among them, they all have silvery eyes and black tongues. Four of them were collected as juveniles. As they have matured their coloration stayed pretty much the same, just a bit of darkening on the dorsal striping connecting the blotches. Mine also have pink highlights on the dorsum between the blotches. In my opinion, they have more spiloides influence in them than quadravittata.
