I have an adult leucistic texas rat and he's quite calm. He's never bitten me in two years, although he gets a little pissy when you get to close to his cage at night. This is my only experience with texas rats. He was an adult when I got him so I don't know how he would differ from a baby. By the way, he is AWESOME!!! Check out the pic of him on my web site.
