There's no wrong choice here. Both species are winners in my opinion. Bairds are probably a little cheaper. It'll take a year or so for a hatching Bairds to attain the adult coloration/pattern; the Trans Pecos hatchlings don't change much, if at all. Both are a lot of fun.
