: : I have a pair of cb01 Bairds ratsnakes I got several months ago from Adam Block/Impact Reptiles. They're huge, eating fuzzys and unfortunately, much more aggressive than my corn babies. Is this normal for Bairds? Will they eventually outgrow this? It is my understanding that Bairds are very docile. The female isn't too bad, but the male even vibrates his tail when aggravated/scared. Both have snapped when approached in their cages, and the male snapped once when outside his cage and in hand.
: : Thanks and Happy New Year!!
: I have a pair from Adam that I got last year, they have always been more active and outgoing than any of my corns. The female used to rattle her tail occasionally as a hatchling, and was a little more flightly than the male, but both are wonderful now. The male has been a doll from day one, still has the best personality of any snake I own. I have a new pair of hatchlings from the Chicago show this year, they are pistols, don't think they've been handled much, but they are calming down well.
: Good luck with yours! They are amazing snakes.
