White Sided Black Rat Snake....thinking about getting one.

Hello...
I am thinking about buying a white sided black rat snake...I wanted to know if they had any health problems related to this trait. Are they good feeders..etc. I have heard that the Luecistic rats have probs with their eyes...a bug eye deformation...any simular probs with white sided black rats??
