Cave Dwelling Rats...More Info Please

Can anyone give me some more info on this species? I just saw one for the first time and I am thinking of getting a pair. Feeding preferences, cage req, temp, ect. Anything will help. I am an experienced herper but do not know anything about this species and I refuse to get into a reptile unless I know as much as possible about the species. Thank you for any info you may have.
