A quick pic.
All bairdi are known for having a pumpkin-colored belly. It isn't as colorful on the young. It starts a bit back from the chin from white to yellow to orange to burnt orange.Between the scales is usually a reddish-orange color, if you look closely. This color increases with age. The eyes tend towards an orange-brown.
