: : I put a deposit down on a pair of taiwan beauties, E.t. fresei. Could those of you who already own adult versions of this species please tell me the top footage of your snakes? I have read the maximum size they can reach is 11 feet, with 6 or 7 being average. I would like to hear from different people about their experiences. And how do you house them so as not to cramp them? I would like to build something to accomodate their arboreal tendencies as well as terrestrial, so I was thinking of enclosures with box-like dimensions. Any thoughts?
: I have a sub-adult pair that are pushing six feet. I purchased them in Germany. It is felt among my German friends that E.t. Friesi frequently achieve sizes beyond 3 meters (9+ feet). I have seen some monsters over there, take for instance a female breeder of a friend of a friend had that was as big around as the thick portion of a bat and probably over nine feet in length. Now some may disagree, but I have seen! Oh and by the way, many breeders German and American have suggested I need to still wait several months before breeding. I hope you really enjoy your future pets, mine have absolutely made me a real believer that the Asian Elaphe can't be beet.
: Respectfully,
: Jarrett
