: I'm about to bulid a 6'x6'x3' cage for my trio of adult Spilotes and was wondering if anyone has any large setups that they have pics of. Mainly, I wanted to see how I could build perches, orient limbs, and possibly an elevated hide box. Thanks.
pierson, i can't send any pics but i keep mine in large vetical tank the top of which is at almost ceiling height. they spend most of their time up there stretched out on horizontal branches watching the going ons down below. if it gets too warm up there, like in the summer, then they adjust accordingly and come down some. i gave them different levels of branches to use and they do when hunting or coming down for a drink. the tank you're building sounds great! and great big!! they'll love it in there. the taller, the better. good luck w/ it.
