: My thanks to you guys, Terry and Sparky. Actually I already have 2.1 with me, but the female is too young to breed, so I need to find more females for the boys. So what is your basic technique to keep and breed them? Have you had any luck producing some babies? Anyway, please let me know if anyone here knows where I can get some female, thanks.
Wai, I haven't produced any, yet. This will be the first year for a female nearing the proper size. I put my adults in brumation, usually late in December, at about 55-60*F. They can go nearly four months. I start warming them around the beginning of April. That's when it starts to get warmer and more humid in MI, where I live. They eat mice on a regular basis, but not terribly often. The only problem I've had is lack of humidity at times. The humidity can get down to about 30% for a low in winter. Always have fresh water for drinking and bathing. A moist hide box during the shed cycle helps too.
