How many days after "pooping" can you feed a rat snake?

I'm looking for maximun growth. I'm sure a rat snake can eat more than one feeding a week. I feed my male and female Everglades once a week, but they consume the mice really fast, and they still seem to be in "hunt" mode. Is it better to feed them 2 at one feeding while still in hunt mode or space them apart every few days???. Both snakes are about 8 months old.

Any "intelligent" answer would be appreciated.....
