I agree with you. I give my subocs a hot spot of about 90 F. The backround is room temp. about 65 low/70-80 high. They are given water only once a week, just a small amount and they usually drink it all at once. I live on the coast were the humitity is moderate, if you live in a drier climate they may need more water.
I've also been told when a snake is regurging to give it smaller than normal meals, frozen/defrosted and poke holes in the pinky or fuzzy's belly to make it easier to digest. I hope this helps.
