may i suggest you wait and get a CB one. WC individuals tend to be parasite ridden and hard to acclimated. they are not a species that fare well if WC.
on the whole oxys are knwn for being shy and flighty and somewhat aggressive and prone to biting. its pretty cool when they flare their necks out!
This being said, they are not untamable - i know of various people that have relatively tame specimens and im in the process of "taming" mine. he is still shy but now tolerates handling and hardly ever tries to bite.
Thy are pretty simple to keep and if given an arboreal set-up (reccommended) are pretty cool to watch.
I find them to be a fun snale to keep but i strongly advise you to get a cb one if possible - it will be hassle free :)

: I'm considering purchasing one (WC) and would like to what to look out for. It has no feeding problems but I'm not too sure about its temperament. I've heard that's it is prone to biting even it is a CB.
