Possibly, like I said, I only know what I have read about them. I have read a couple journals and articles about them. It seems to me that noone has really decided if they are a variation of the grayrat or an integrade. The reason I am inclide to think they are just a variation is because when you cross a yellowXgray you get a snake that has at least some yellow in it. All the wild gulfhammock (pictures I have seen) are absent of yellow, and I believe they are decribed as being completley gray. I think I have also read that yellow rats are not very common in the Gulf Hammock area, but the Gulfhammock rat snake is the predominant rat snake there. Correct me if I am wrong, but is there a place where the integrade is more common than the "pure" species? Just my thoughts. I am very interested in obtaining a pair of these animals, either decendants of wc or wc themselves. Maybe I'll be able to do some herping there next season. What does everyone else think?

: A couple corrections - You're right Travis. The GulfHammock is a gray rat/yellow rat integrade instead of the E. o. obsoleta I suggested previously. These 4 integrades are hard for me to get. One of the books I have calls them variants. Maybe that's why when a breeder just crosses a yellow rat and gray rat it doesn't necessarily look like ones in the wild. Your thoughts?
