I once got a BIG bag of dead iguanas that froze in shipping...gave some to a taxidermist...he freeze dried a few...sold them for 85$ each...good profit when he paid $20 to dry them....
they sold too....

at trapper's conventions...guys sell snapping turtle rattles,,handbags,,,,dried turtles...alot of odd stuff...

skull companies too will sometimes (maybe)buy dead stuff for skeletal rearticulation...
(American headhunter,,,skulls unlimited etc etc)
