I picked up a yearling male E. climacophora at this year's Daytona Beach Breeders' Expo. This guy is somewhat nervous and rather shy, spending most of his time in his hidebox. He has never struck or bitten, but vibrates his tale like a racer. Is this a trait of Asiatic Elaphe? This is the first Asian rat snake that I have kept. He takes f/t small mice without hesitation, and I keep him at the same temps as my guttata and obsoleta........good luck........T Dance
