Do you feed your ridleyi during the months that you put them together for copulation or are they kept too cool for feeding?
Yeah, everytime I pull the male out of a female's cage, I'll feed that female while he's in the other female's cage. The male usually won't eat though.
Also, if they are cooled, how long do you keep them cool before introducing them?
I started cooling them on November 1st. After they've been cooled for a couple weeks I start puting them together, and continue to put the male in and out of females' cages until the mating stops. I put him with female #1 on 11/14 and with female #2 on 11/16, both times they were locked-up the following morning.
