Terry - Breaking it down into the guttata camp and the emoryi camp has cleared it up alot and gave me a good comcept of what is going on. In Dr. Vaughan's work, the method of study was dorsal blotch counts, tail blotches, ventrals and caudals. I read a post on this forum by Travis G. awhile back that he and someone else had sent some sheds up to Texas A & M for DNA analysis. This would be a different data collection method for Dr. Vaughan. I think it went along with the guttata guttata camp and guttata meahllmorum camp defining their respective range limits. Had to use that "camp" analysis. It works great for me.
