Last year I attempted to breed my ridleyi for the first time. I cooled them with the rest of my colubrids (55-60 degrees) for 10-12 weeks, then warmed them back up and put them together after their first post-brumation shed. Either my snakes were too young, or I'm going about this all wrong. According to the Schulz book, ridleyi should be kept at 66-68 for one to two months. So, I'll keep them a little warmer this winter, and shorten the length of "brumation." What about putting them together? Should they be introduced during the winter or when they are warmed back up? I appreciate any advice.
Thanks,
Ronda
