here in Pa...I have seen blacks that were pure ,deep black....some with alot of white under and over them in the pattern,....and in the one set of mountains ...I saw a bunch that had reddish /rust sides on them...

in Md...a friend once found a brown one...all brown...(I didn't see it...it was released)...

seems alot of variation is possible...
