To put it plainly...he's full of sh#t! A lot of the "big breeders" have their heads up their own a$$. I've seen ridleyi selling for anywhere from $250-$350 each this year, and they did sell. I've got plenty of buyers waiting for Ridleyi at $500/pair.

Here's an old personal story...
Years ago I sent my clutch of c.b. Blue Beauties to one of the "big" shows with a friend who was a vendor. When he was setting up, a "big name" from Michigan told him "blue beauties don't sell for sh!t, you'll have to give them away for about $50 each". My friend figured he'd be better off just bringing them back to me so he didn't even put them on his table. I didn't want to get stuck with all these babies that won't sell, so I practically gave away the parents and babies. To this day that "big name" still sells Blues for $175 each. I used to email him and ask why the price was so high, but he never replied. So the point is....do your own research, don't just take one person's word for it.
