one on your own. I usually tube feed as a last resort. I purchased a plastic syringe and got a small peice of clear rubber aquarium tube that I attached to the syringe. You can slightly melt the edges of the tube to make it smoother. Then, buy some Gerber beef baby food and mix it with a calcium supplement and some warm water (mix it until it has the consistency of honey). Then you fill the syringe with the mixture and open the starving hatchlings mouth gently and insert the tube into its throat(it helps to slightly lubricate the tube with a small amount of vegetable oil first). You have to be VERY careful to not injure the snake. Slowly inject the contents of the syringe into the snake and you can watch its belly slowly fill. Make sure to only give the snake an amount about equal to the size of a large meal. Do this a few times to get some more body weight on your snake. I would then recommend that you hibernate the snake for about 6 weeks. Once you take the snake out of hibernation, it will have a very strong feeding response and will hopefully accept mice or lizard scented mice for you. Hope this helps. Make sure you are providing your snake with the proper environment to stimulate feeding BEFORE resorting to tube feeding or any other kind of force feeding.
