I agree with Steve about the snakes just being different both my Taiwans are shy. They're one & Two years old so age may have something to do with it but my Blue Beauty hatchlings stay out and about whenever I'm around.

The older male has started coming out in the daylight but my one year old female still only comes out at night. The Blues tend to come out during the morning.
