mandarins need cool, fairly humid enclosures
low to high 70's, a large water dish for soaking, a spagnum box, a drier hidebox(all hidespots should have low tops, they should just fit in them without sticking out) and about 1 to 2 inches of substrate, as they will burrow
I use aspen for babies and cypress for juvies and adults
mandarins are pretty skittish, and will stress fairly easy I try not to bug them any more than I have too, aside from feeding, cleaning, and checking general health
you'd be best off obtaining captive hatched babies, they do the best in captivity
