The "Reptile Education First" petition has been posted for several weeks now. I signed it last month. I urge anyone reading this who hasn't yet signed, to do so. "Rep. Ed. First" already has 3,520 signatures, and is the third most-popular petition listed in the top-ten, as opposed to the HSUS "Ban Reptile Pets" petition (608 signatures).

As for the "Abolish Exotic Reptile Importation" petition, it has 33 signatures. I must say, that the poster of this petition has a valid point; however, I think the petition needs to be better worded, and to include reasoned arguments, rather than being just a blanket call for a ban. IMO, there are some instances in which importation should be permitted.

I'll be interested in viewing the comments of other participants in this forum.

: I decided to put my petition (for reptiles) on the same website as the HSUS's petition (against reptiles) mostly so that people could see both sides of the story, and partly because there is this little nasty side of me that wanted the HSUS to see how bad they were getting their butts kicked LOL.
