Actually there are a handful of breeders working with the orange TX rats. My breeders came from the Lemke line, as probably most of the other breeding stock out there did. They are truly "striking" animals indeed. :) I can't seem to get a photo of my very orange adult male that even comes close to showing how vividly colored he really is. My photographic skills are definitely in need of improvement.
