I have a trio of blues, and they are not at all agressive.
I have been bitten only once, and that was from putting my finger inside the hide box to lift it off of the snake. They are used to mice coming in that opening on forceps, thus the reason for the strike.
Generally I do not handle them, or any of my other snakes very much. I might get them out every two months other than for cage cleaning. They are not calm and deliberate by any means when being held, they are in constant motion, but make no offer to bite.
Their temperments are just like my taiwans. I've kept them for three years and produced them for two. In that time only one neonate has bitten me. They are docile and reluctant to bite straight form the egg. I'm sure some may be nippy, or else people wouldn't say they were, but I have not found that to be the case with either type, nothing close actually.
My radiated is a different story though, and she makes up for them and then some in the agression department.
