I have to agree - I've got a pair of 2 month old Blue Beauty hatchlings & they're both OK. They have a reputation of being a bit nippy when they're young but mine are all right (Occasionally they attempt to nip but that's rare - besides most snakes will, at times, be moody and just want to be left alone).

Most posts I've seen on Beauty Snakes state that if handled well, early on then they are lovely snakes to work with, if they haven't been handled then they can be a bit feisty to say the least.

I concur, I also have a pair of Taiwans - the female I acquired at 8 mths old had been handled a lot & after getting over the shock of moving house, she's a joy to work with. I acquired my male at 2yrs old frm a breeder/pet shop, and he's more of a handful. He's only bitten me once (and that was just after I got him) but he's fast and squirmy & occaisionally comes with the false strikes. Mind you, even if they do bite it's not like a bite from a GTP.

The bottom line is that if you get some that have been handled well then they will be very nice snakes to have.

Enjoy.
