A lot of the guys on here are breeding these and will have a lot more detailed info than me but in general:
Leopard snakes - elaphe situla - are European ratsnakes from Italy, Spain etc. Generally smaller than corn snakes, only 3-4 feet and very pretty. CB animals are easily tamed but probably not as handling friendly as Corns and they can be awkward feeders.
I don't know how experienced you are so apologies if this seems simplistic - leopard rats are lovely but I wouldn't necessarily choose them as a first snake unless you've got experience with other rat snakes.
