If the snake has just had its first shed ever, I would be patient. Some snakes will not take there first meal till after they shed, and all the activity may be stressing the animal out.
I would put it somewhere that it gets little disturbance for at least 3 days or so, then try a very small live pink.
If the animal is a little older, I would take a tail from an adult mouse and try gently force feeding it (the hairs on the tail will make it hard for the snake to push it back out) so the snake will have little choice then to continue and swallow it.
That way you can get him started and after enough has been fed down his throat you can put him down and let him finish on his own.
