: well when folks crossed corn and kings to make jungle
: corns that was a man made intergrade

Actually, that is definitely a hybrid -- not an intergrade. Some people call a man-made supspecific cross a hybrid instead of a intergrade; I don't agree with that definition. That was my point by saying "man-made hybris (or 'hybrid')." I did not want to get into a term defining bull session, so I copped out like that.

: and other mutation
: s of color and design .

Not all mutations are the same. A pure albino corn still only has "corn genes" -- albino or not. An albino SinaloabXNelson's milk is crap albino or not. It can not be pure (except in a chance event that is almost as unlikely as a life itself -- and you'd never know anyway) again. The crap designation is opinion. The other statements are facts.

:the point i'm trying to make is hybrids and mutations is the future

I know of a LOT of things that were "the future" that didn't wotk out AND did as much damage, if not more, while they were here than before they occured. By saying "it's the future," one just offers an opinion -- not fact -- without supporting data. Sorry.

: i can't see why anyone would not want white blk rats

Can you understand why someone would never own a black lab X wolf cross, but will pay $600+ for a pureblooded black lab? It's the same thing, except that it is harder to track pure snakes throught time than it is for dogs. Can you imagine paying the same $600 for a mutt? Heck, no.

Well, I fear mutts!

If you are really interested in learning both sides of this issue and the actual FACTS both sides use to support their opinion, I'd recommend an extensize search of all of the forums. It has been covered on most of them at one time or another. (The hybrid forum especially.) Use the searchable database. It's "all" there and an educated opinion is always more valuable than an uneducated one.
