These may be really obvious questions but:
What temp are you keeping him at? I've seen snakes not eat and then start wolfing food down three or four degrees either way...
Have you tried putting him in a bag with the pinkie overnight?
Another thought - if you are having to force feed - you could buy fuzzie/full size mice and just force feed him the tails rather than the whole pinkies. This might be less of a struggle and not quite as traumatic.
Also - if you've just got a meal into him - try leaving him alone for a week or two. Make sure he's got water and just leave him be and then try again.
If all else fails you may have to try a live food item. I had a Northern Pine go four months without eating until I gave him a live mouse and now he's eating me out of house and home.
