: : : I have about a four-foot long gray rat. A guy at the pet shop said three mice a week, but that seems a lot. Anybody know about what and how often to feed him?

: : i'm not an expert but three mice a week seem like way too much for a four foot snake. have you tried feeding the snake yet. i think that one a week would be plenty, you can really go less than that. i would call a local vet or diff pet store and get a second opinion. it would be much safer to let the snake be a little hungry than to feed it too much, it will eat all you give it but will start to regurgitate. good luck.
: Just to let everybody know, it's at least two inches in diameter too-don't want to underfeed it
