he was not wild caught. both his "mom and dad" were. the male was terribly aggressive when first caught, but now six years later he is most docile. the female was ok, only bit on occassions and is also very tame now.
when i first got mine, i had a male/female pair. the female was a finicky eater so i gave her back to the friend that bred them. they were both the size of No. 2 pencils. the male is now 3 feet long. without checking, i believe he is around a year in age.
