: This seems to be a common problem in late Summer months. My experience is that when they are ready, they will eat. You can try live, but unless the snake is looking noticeably thin, I wouldnt worry. At times, mine have literally gone months at a time without feeding. I agree 6 weeks is a long time, but for snakes, not so long as you'd think.
