: I have a grey rat snake that was born some time around march? he is already 22" I feed him 1 fuzzy mouse every 5 days, about how long before he gets to adult size.(I know it can take years I have a 2 year old Bull Snake that is 5 1/2')
Hi Scott,
I have a gray rat snake about 30" long.It came from North Florida, and is of the white oak color phase. But,it will not eat anything but pinkie mice, taking two mice immediately, and one more later that night(I place them in the hide box because there is a heat pad).I am not sure how long it will take to get it up to the size of my normal color rat snake(silver platinum-South Ala)and between 5-6'long.Maybe 3 or 4 years?I am not sure either about the growth rate.
