in high school I was known as the lizard lady...

In biology they had a tank of blue tongue skinks, very friendly. I'd always grab one out and play with in on my desk during class, so I aquired the name "lizard lady". It was meant as a mean tease, and said in a taunting manner. I eventually gave up playing with the skinks, but could never shake the name. Now I own a gorgeous monitor lizard, and would have no problem being dubbed "lizard lady"! I tossed my pair of greybanded kings around my neck once while trying to do somthing in their cage. They got tangled and I had a heck of a time getting them off. Never tried it again!
