OK, ok. I know I dont post often enough. Its hard sitting on my hands and waiting for my new bairdi to eat their first meal so I can go get em.
Anyway, I'm a Pisces.
I teach special Ed. in Austin TX, and have currently 4 snakes at school. One is a pair of corns that are fairly large and bred last year. The kids' fave is the albino gophersnake(who has started his summer fasting period).
It hasnt rained here for about 2 months until RIGHT NOW, and I cant wait for next weekend and the possibility of herping again.
Anyway, my name is Jack, I'm 35, I drive a very old white Nissan pickup that my schoolkids have painted all over, and I have a nearly-two-year-old daughter. She is so cool, she already has a firebelly toad. That her Mom bought, mind you.
We like the princes bride too, but that ain't our favorite. Mine's gotta be Tommy Boy, or the Right Stuff. Although anything by the Coen boys runs right up there. My wife is sick of new pets, but thats understandable. We have 6 snakes, parakeets, 2 dogs, 3 cats, and a tank fulla fish in a med.-sized apt. PLus whatever new wild caught stuff i drag in to look at for a day or so.
Weirdly enough, I'm a vegetarian, but feeding the snakes doesn't bug me.
I like outdoor adventuring and ran a summer camp based on just that. The kids loved it. We saw lots of critters.
Perhaps I sound like a nerd, but..., see,... I am!
We mostly do family stuff and are currently going for baby # 2, at which time I can get neutered(am i telling too much)
