Mine tend to like it on the cool side. I've never seen them take a dip but boy do they like to climb ! Make sure that all your lighting cables are securely fastened - I came in a couple of nights ago to find that my 2yr male had climbed up the thermal sensor for my Habistat setup andwas happily dangling from the cables for my UVb strip light !

They can be nervous & slightly nippy (but that's mainly false strikes)at first but once they calm down they're great snakes.
