: Hello,
: I have had a corn snake for over a year now....my question is--are there any ratsnakes that are as docile as corns? Thanks for your help.
If you want a snake that is very hardy, tame very easily, and can take a huge temperature range, go with a Fox snake (Elaphe vulpina vulpina). These snakes are from the North (Michigan, Missouri, etc.) Surprising not many people keep them. In my opinion, the furthur south you go the meaner an Elaphe becomes.
